A map room such as The Map Division in the New York Public Library can mentally transport you to many places. Inspired by the idea of teleportation, I created a personal mobile experience that can take me back to my hometown, or digitally transport me there. One of the many things that make me associate home is the many noodle stalls that I often go to (noodle is often called bakmi in Indonesian). The mobile experience showcases a map with the different noodle stalls, and once pick a place it features the visual and atmospheric sounds experienced while in those locations.
